Kids Portraits
Many clients approach Sam Smith Photography with requests to capture the special moments of their lives. As an experienced Photographer, this professional understands how much people have going on in their lives, which is why they aim to make Portrait Sessions as easy as possible. Newborn portraits
Newborn portraits are designed to capture one of a kind details of your newest family member. Newborn portrait sessions are best taken before two weeks old, because during this time the little one is still a little sleepy and easy to work with as far as poses, wraps and props. I conduct newborn portrait sessions at your home (studio by request). Newborn portrait sessions are completed within the comfort of your own home and offer several personalized options of areas in which to take the portraits such as in your nursery, or master bedroom. These portraits have a feel of intimacy that could not be recreated inside of a studio. Newborn portrait sessions last for up to three hours to allow for feedings, and changing of the baby. I never want my families to feel rushed. Newborn portrait sessions include various poses of the newborn by himself, newborn with parents, newborn with siblings, and family shots. i bring all props, wraps, and baby outfits based on our discussion during the initial consult. Maternity
Pregnancy is an amazing, beautiful experience. I am excited to capture it for you in heirloom fine art photographs. I will capture your anticipation, excitement and love for your child in a timeless, elegant way. Your maternity photographs should be taken between 32 and 36 weeks so that you are far enough along to have a nice round belly without being too close to your due date. We can take your photos in your home or on location. When the session is conducted in your home, it creates a more intimate session where you may feel more comfortable showing more of your belly. If you prefer to have your session on location we will work together to chose the best location based on your vision of your photos. I will document your pregnancy in a way to capture your natural glow and radiance, and accentuate your own beauty. Sessions last from an hour to an hour and a half and are meant to be fun! Engagement portraits
Congratulations on your engagement, you must be so excited! My couples & engagement sessions are laid-back, fun and interactive, incorporating both candid interaction and romantic posing. I will work closely with you before our session to customize the experience as much as possible so that it best reflects you and the love that you share. Together we will choose the perfect theme and location(s) and I'm happy to answer any styling or outfit questions you may have. Engagement photography is perfect for freezing this pre-wedding romance in time, other benefits include an engagement album, that can be used as a guest sign in book, or using your engagement photos for save-the-date cards. Large prints could be used to greet your guests as they arrive; invitations, event cards, programs, wedding itinerary cards are all smaller options that your engagement photos could be used in. It’s also great to have some professional images if someone’s putting together a wedding slideshow.
